		APPLICATION DAYS for VISA are MONDAY, TUESDAY, THURSDAY and FRIDAY from 9.15 am to 1.00 pm TO TAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR VISA APPLICATION PLEASE CALL 0312 405 60 29 BETWEEN 9:30 am - 11:30 am Your application for visa must be done, at least, 15 days before your travel In case of additional information please call 0312 405 60 29 Phone number: 0312-405 60 29 Fax: 0312 437 38 44 ALL KINDS of PASSPORT EXCEPT DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT NEED VİSA VISA APPLICATIONS MUST BE MADE PERSONALLY The passport is only given to the applicant. Passports are not sent by post. IMPORTANT NOTE: You can call 0312 405 60 29 to ask if your Visa has been authorized. If your visa is authorized, then you should buy your ticket and sent it by fax to the number 0312 437 38 44. In normal cases, your Visa will be ready within one week after the date of application. - NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR VISA APPLICATION - - Visa form - Completely filled in CAPITAL LETTERS and in a readable manner and personally signed - Separate visa forms must be filled for each person registered in the same passport. - 2 document size colour photos - Passport - with validity exceeding at least 3 months counting from the return date to Turkey - Passports which have an issuing date older than 10 years will not be accepted - Photocopies of all the pages of the Passport that have stamps and visas (Visa will not be issued to Passports which do not have any free ‘Visa’ pages) - Invitation – The original legalized letter of the Invitation and, if it’s the case, copies of evidence of your guarantor’s income. The letter must mention the address, the purpose of the stay, the dates of the stay, as well as the full name of the Visa applicant - Declaration from employer - Certificate of employment and official leave of absence from the employer for the duration of the stay, social security documents and salary documents. Self-employed applicants must present the original or certified copy of trade registry gazette and certificate of activity For business trips, documents must be presented proving the purpose of the visit and the nature of the business - Applicants must prove that have enough financial means at their disposal to cover their travel and accommodation expenses during the stay. (For example: a letter from the bank, a photocopy and the original of the Bank account or Credit card, etc). The amount of financial means considered “enough” will depend on the visit - An official document proving the occupation/profession of the applicant must be presented - If the applicant is under 18 years old, a legal authorization of parents must be presented - Confirmation of hotel reservation or evidence that the applicant has paid the bill in advance - Reservation for a return ticket - ID card photocopy - Travel medical insurance (of at least 30.000 Euros) - For European Union projects – Donation letter from Turkish National Agency and Letter of Authorisation to travel abroad from the appropriate Turkish Authority. - Visa fee will be paid in Turkish Liras equivalent of 60 Euros. - Service passports will be exempt of visa fee. Note that the Embassy has the right to ask for any additional documents regarding the Visa application - NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR STUDENT VISA - - 2 VISA FORMS - Completely filled in CAPITAL LETTERS and in a readable manner and personally signed. - 3 document size colour photos - Passport - with validity exceeding at least 3 months counting from the return date to Turkey - 2 Photocopies of all the pages of the Passport that have stamps and visas (Visa will not be issued to Passports which do not have any free ‘visa’ pages) - Acceptance letter for studying or training (The original and the photocopy should be presented) - Health Certificate translated into Portuguese or into English (Original and photocopies of the document) - Criminal Record Certificate translated into Portuguese or into English (Original and photocopies of the document) - Conditions of lodging in Portugal - Original and the photocopy with signature - Financial means during the study period. Applicants must prove that they have enough financial means at their disposal to cover their travel and accommodation expenses during the stay - Travel medical insurance (of at least 30.000 Euros) - Student certificate translated into English (Photocopy of translation and the original certificate) - Letter of Scholarship from the University/School translated into English (Original and photocopy of the document) DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE NO SCHOLARSHIP - Legalized letter of Undertaking from the parents translated into English - Certificate of Employment from the parents IMPORTANT NOTE: - Your visa will be ready within 30 days after your application. - After the Visa has been authorized the student must present the flight ticket and send a copy by Fax to 0312 437 38 44.
